L.C. Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Okay, now that they have , when will the consumer get to customize them to sound like a ? I would change the engine sound to this: http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/Chacarron.ogg (182 KB) Some people would prefer TIE fighter sounds, others would change it to.. Quote
»Xog Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Personally I would change the sound to a roaring blastoff of a space shuttle just to piss everyone off. Quote
Dav Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I can see the point in this, When cycling I rely on the sound of traffic to know how far away the car is, when it will pass me and how much space it is leaving. I don't care what sound it makes, in fact hearing some new sounds could well brighten my commute up a bit Quote

Dav Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 i think frequency is the big issue as well. A slight drop in frequency with the volume drop would cause havoc! Quote
»Lynx Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 I didn't read the article as I read this a few months back on /. but I recall something about it possibly becoming compulsory in Japan? Quote
