double accounting

Whenever i try to get on continuum, it says, "fatal error 000004bc". what does that mean?

Are you using XP, Vista, or 7?

I did a search on these forums using 000004bc as the search keyword and found some threads. Try rebooting your computer.

Open up Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC hotkey) and make sure all instances of Continuum.exe are terminated.

Then try to run Continuum.exe as an Administrator (if this works, try turning off UAC or whitelisting Continuum.exe from UAC if possible).*

 

*If you already know how, give it a go! Otherwise press the WinKey+R hotkey to bring up the Run prompt, type in cmd and hit enter, and then navigate to where you installed Continuum (you might type cd C:\Program Files\Continuum\ or cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Continuum\ depending on which version of 7 you are running), and then type runas /user Administrator Continuum.exe.

If Windows 7 is the same as Vista, then you won't be able to run more than one instance of Continuum. Maybe someone else can confirm this.
