In my humble opinion, based on what I know about it, this was probably an automated attack and not someone out targeting HS specifically. But hey, it'll become apparent if I'm wrong.

Was there anything really important kept there, anyway? It's been used for next to nothing since it was started.

 

P.S. It'd be bad for you if they stuck in some exploit code that compromised your system. I'd recommend not checking it out, or going in with everything (even images) disabled/blocked if you really must.

No actually a lot of us used that website a lot to see latest duels and other various things. It's a good thing all THAT info wasn't destroyed...

Arnk is probably right in that it was a completely automated attack. Even my silly little website throws out a bunch of 404s daily because of scripted attacks targeted at systems like this. But, I suppose that's one of the downsides to using a pre-made CMS rather than writing your own.

 

Also, "hacking" websites is lame, bragging about it is even worse and thinking it makes you cool is retarded. When are you going to grow up already?
