🜲 PoLiX Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 As SSGN staff know, I am planning to create a huge section for players to submit links to SubSpace reviews in magazines, on websites, and on television. Well, to kind of kick it off, I figured it might be nice to have a few links. I found an old link in my e-mail and it kind of kick started the idea in my brain again. http://books.google.com/books?id=9gEAAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PA56&as_pt=MAGAZINES&pg=PA56 SubSpace in Maximum PC - November 2001 SSForum.net - September 01, 2002 - Rowen (SSDownloads.Com), PoLiX (SSCentral.Com), and Cyberise (Subspace.Net)

Also know we were in Gamepro at one point, and IGN has reviewed SS a few times. Just a hint to links before I go crash SSForum.net - September 01, 2002 - Rowen (SSDownloads.Com), PoLiX (SSCentral.Com), and Cyberise (Subspace.Net)
★ jabjabjab Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Best line ever: "The game's player base is around 20,000, but they're 20,000 of the most hard-core gamers out there." Fusha> Don't fight the gravityFusha> Make the gravityFusha> Your friendFusha> Bounce
Yupa Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 But? Wouldn't "and" have been more appropriate?
🜲 Samapico Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 It seems they intended the number 20000 to sound little (and it kind of is) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg/120px-Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg.pngDCME co-developerSSCU 17th Parallel sysop

My colon decided that was a good time to evacuate itself.
Dr Brain Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Player base and population are not the same thing. I don't think the player base has shrunk a whole lot (maybe 50%), but the population now represents a smaller percentage, because not many zones are developing new things. Freedom is the right to be wrong.
Yupa Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 It could also be argued the population has declined because zones developed new things... and then destroyed the old things. Obviously entire new zones are an exception.
