op2rules Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Don't have a phone, but this looks totally awesome! Quote
»D1st0rt Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 all kinds of crazy things you can do now that phones have gigahertz processors Quote
»Xog Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Uh. Isn't that just VNC? I think the phone is running ubuntu in the background and it's stopped from showing in general so you use VNC from the ubuntu shell emulator to connect to itself (24.0.0.0 or whatever) and voila you see desktop. im probably wrong though, since i've never touched a nexus and im not too good with linux nor the VNC program Edited July 9, 2010 by Xog Quote
Yupa Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Not all that surprising, considering the OS that comes with the phone is Linux-based. P.S. Jesus why don't people name their products things that are pronounced the same by all cultures. Edited July 9, 2010 by Yupa Quote
Dav Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 apparently it has been done on the HD2 as well. Shame the phone needs to be rooted to do it though. Id rather keep my warranty at this point. Quote
