kid Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Could you redo this graphic in a way that is usable as the ingame asteroids?
»jabjabjab Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 Yes I can. Problem is I cannot give you the those shaped asteroids but I can make new ones easily.
Samapico Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 You just need the specific framerate and size (16x16 or 32x32) But using them as LVZ would be much cooler... just need to make that lvz+tiles package thing in DCME... and allow a randomized animation time so you don't get all the asteroids spinning synchronously. Wasn't in my plans at short term to do these things, but if someone desperately need it I might be able to make a quick tweak... well... not so quick since I recently formatted and upgraded to Win7, so I'd need to install VB6 again, and possibly the XP virtual machine to get it to compile. Bleh.
»jabjabjab Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) Sorry for the late post but i had to do other things first. oh and btw i used that technique in JabBase4 in twdev Edited June 10, 2010 by jabjabjab
Samapico Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 wtf do you mean 'late post'... 7 hours later, it's not like anyone sat here for 7 hours waiting for it

aquarius Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Very nice. I made an ice rock, the ingame files are somewhere deep in a stack of cd's, though. http://www.ssforum.net/uploads/monthly_10_2007/post-5059-1191855239.gif
Samapico Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Do we have a .gif to tiled image converter somewhere?
LiDDiS Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 can't you go through and extract the images frame by frame from a .gif?
Samapico Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 Well, if you have a program that shows each frames separately, yes you can. But surely someone has made an automated tool for that already...
L.C. Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 I love Google. Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to get a link.
