Para Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Its been quite some time since the two have been discussed. I've recently came back after not playing Continuum for a few years and started playing. Long story short, I also tried out Cosmic Rift again and was wondering if anyone here also plays Cosmic Rift? I want to try to get some old classic rogue trader battles again. Those were the best of times for CR imo. Quote
»jabjabjab Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Mega Newbie does... or did..? I checked it out with infantry for some other things. Quote
Chambahs Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Continuum was advertised in CR, when I tried out SS and realized you dont have to wait to get into a game, I automatically came to SS and ditched CR, lmao. SHRIKE! Quote
Para Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 What do you mean by wait to get into the game? Quote
Hakaku Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 I downloaded Cosmic Rift at one time, but there were never any players online. I gave up on it after that. Does anyone still play? Quote
Para Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Posted June 6, 2010 I downloaded Cosmic Rift at one time, but there were never any players online. I gave up on it after that. Does anyone still play?I have CR and would love to play arranged events or something. I mean the game is free and offers a more interesting variety of gameplay than what continuum is limited to. »jabjabjab Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 The history is what truely makes the difference between the two. Continuum never made it to game p2p but cosmic did. im sure cosmic would be a lot better without that. Quote
Audry Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 I dunno for you guys... but it looks to me like Para joined this forum ONLY to advertise CR... Quote
Detector Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 I tried Cosmic Rift once, the ships looks very different from Continuum and they're not as fast either. Quote
