whalz Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 So apparently stitches are so last century (says the doctor) i had to get a cut put back together [as i stabed myself with an exacto knife], and to the hospital i went expecting a black rope and some sort of needle, but instead they used glue and small strips of goz.. was pretty impressed, still gota leave it on for like 5days, but the scar should be less than stitches.. q: do you guyz still get stiches for small cuts (from a knife, not from a piece of tissue that ur using to clean up your jiz with) ppaaper cuts dont count! besides use a sock Quote
BDwinsAlt Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 I try not to cut myself. I've never had to have stitches or anything like that. I can see why you might need government healthcare. I usually only go to the doctor when I need my vaccines (every 14 years). Last time I went to the doctor was because I had a wreck and really wanted some pain killers to help me get around. Before that... I think I had to get a vaccine about 5 years ago. Before that, I had a toothpick stuck in my foot for 3 months, that was about 8 years ago. Anyway, what are theses new stitch alternatives called, because I want to google it. Oh btw I found this to help you stop cutting youself... Quote
LiDDiS Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Yeah that glue shit has been around for a few years. Pretty cool. I think they still use stitches on bigger wounds though. Quote

rootbear75 Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 (edited) Band-Aid released something like that a long time ago.Instead of strips it was this liquid "glue" that you put directly on the cut... Google: "liquid bandage"OR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquid_bandage EDIT: by the way: its gauze, not goz Edited March 26, 2010 by rootbear75 Quote
whalz Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 well i guess they used super glue over in vietnam to patch people up... so its no new thing i still would prefur stitches as they are waterproof Quote
