I was about to say, I thought htc was android.

I myself have a samsung moment.

If you want to work on your phone and make apps, go for android. Open source = awesome.

No Flash Lite yet. Soon is what I'm hearing.

I know you're all jealous of my e-paper.

Motorola Razor right now that I removed the camera from. Debating if I want to just pay a .01 and get a HTC Tilt and remove the camera hoping I don't fuck it up, or get the version of it without the camera for $250. Looking at what government discounts I get 1st on others without cameras, but very limited sadly.

Stupid camera phone restrictions.

HTC Hero :o

If anyone felt like spending the money they could probably make an iphone chatnet client using MonoTouch and manifold. When they roll out MonoDroid (expected Q3 2010) I assume I'll at least whip something quick together

@tcsoccerman: I don't know what Block's situation is but my work place requires for me to have a T-Mobile plan so I have an iPhone for personal stuff on at&t and a Blackberry Bold on T-Mobile for work. Edited by CRe

OR use Jowie's chatnet script and then any IRC client on w/e phone you are using.

Blocks: Why would have two different phones for work and personal? Don't you find it hard to not use your iPhone when you are off work?

Well first off my F3 is badass so I don't miss the iPhone much. Mostly though, I'm cheap and not willing to pay $80+ a month or whatever an iPhone costs.

Let's see... two devices, a perl interpreter, an IRC client and some firewall/router configuration, or one device and a Manifold client. In the event I was no where near a computer and I decided I absolutely had to talk to you tools, I'd probably opt for suicide. But, that failing, I'd go with the Manifold route as it requires far, far less work.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Some people have had a close guess at what i'm doing, with modern 3G technology, needless to say it won't just be a chat client :) Imacctually posting this using 3g mobile broadband on my PC 3.6Mb connection :)
