»nintendo64 Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 FACTS is written in Visual Basic 6, so you need vb6 runtime files which comes with all you need to run any applications made in this language [FACTS requires specifically ComDlg32.ocx, MSComCtl.ocx, MSFlxGrd.ocx, RichTx32.ocx and of course, MSVBVM60.DLL] Here, make sure you have them all. -nintendo64COMDLG32.OCX Quote
Himura Kenshin Posted January 9, 2004 Author Report Posted January 9, 2004 ghey i still get the error and i read the read me it gave this link http://ss.ClayJar.com/download/RequiredFiles but that dont work either any 1 mind attaching their working facts? Quote
Bargeld Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Drizzit, all these versions of FACTS are working versions... it's your old -*BAD WORD*- version of Win98 that is broken. Go to http://www.microsft.com and download the VBasic Runtime updates (most importantly, service packs 5 or 6.) It's not enough to download these .ocx files and put them in windows\system, you have to "register" them (basically this means instal them.) That is the only way to ever get FACTS running. Quote
»CypherJF Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 start->run->"regsvr32 c:\windows\system\.ocx" XD always hated that :/ Quote
