Notepadd++ - How do I turn on Intellisense for XHTML and CSS?

I have Googled around for this, but cannot figure out how. Notepad++ is supposed to have a built-in Intellisense...and just a few days ago I somehow accidentally got it to come up for a split second before it disappeared.

isn't ctrl+space the default for intellisense ? or is that just only in visual studio (I think I remember it was this key combo in eclipse as well)
