Hi,

So, im sure most if not all of you are aware of Domino's new recipe. If you arent, go here.

I had the opportunity of tasting it yesterday. I bought it with some friends, because we all wanted to try it. We are located in Kansas, and our taste buds are neutral to when it comes to deep dish, thin crust, iowa style, etc. We love them all here.

They placed a lot of hype on their new pizza, saying they took some of their top chefs to create a new flavor/etc...I'm sure most of you guys have had a Little Caesar's pizza...I must say, I am extremely dissatisfied with their new recipe. It is perhaps one of the most disgusting types of pizza I have had, it taste like absolute crap. Don't get me wrong, they got it right in saying their crust taste like a breadstick - it is absolutely awesome, but that is about the only good thing on this pizza. The dough taste worse then Little Caesars. It makes little caesars taste like a gourmet concoction of the perfect crust and the perfect cheese...Don't get me wrong, little caesars isnt that bad.

Domino's needs to go back to their original recipe, it tasted a lot better then this nasty crap.

Please post your opinions of the new pizza,

Confess

I first ate Domino's over a decade ago or so, when they first appeared (in Israel, at least).

The price was cheap and good, the pizza plate's size was rather large; we were ordering for the family at Fridays to watch the evening movie (each week a new movie special at 9 PM).

Shortly after they've become a huge hit and success, like urine, went to their head.

The plate dish grew smaller (the medium we used to order they now call large and the so-called XXL could barely be considered the large of old), the price went higher...and we stopped ordering. I haven't had their pizza ever since.

Eventually, the branch from which we ordered was also shutdown, which made me smirk.

I did have Pizza, though. Still, theirs was second best I've eaten in my life (Prego's come first).

However, since they lost me as a customer they're pretty much burnt over for me, I could care less for their new taste.

I've long ceased consuming pizza on a regular basis, anyway, so it makes little difference to me even if they had prices cuts (and from what I see, Pizza prices only go up so I don't give a flying fuck).

I tryed the new recipe last Monday night, and I actually found it VERY enjoyable compared to what they would send before. And they are right, they completely re-made the recipe, and I really loved it. Might get some more tonight. Just my opinion.

Haven't tried this new Domino's pizza, but I'm not too big a fan of the old stuff. When I want cheap pizza, I go to Little Caesars. It's $5 for a large pepperoni, you don't have to order ahead, and as you said, it's not bad.

Never had any big chain pizza. I live in brooklyn. The closest i ever got to corporate pizza was Lenny & John's cuz it was 3am

You live in BK? I live in the BX. NYC pizza is the best. blum.gif

Totally agree with this.
