SubSpace Forum Network

'subspace' is a service (or protocol) pre-installed into DD-WRT's configurations that you can either block or allow, or prioritize for QoS (Quality of Service).

This is from protocol.h:

{
	         "subspace", 0},        // Subspace - 2D asteroids-style space game -
	        // http://sscentral.com

Mind you, when I use the term protocol I am not referring to the netcodes, physics, server & client protocols, etcetera.

Take for example that QoS page in my screenshot. Theoretically, by adding 'subspace' to that list and setting it to 'exempt' while QoS is enabled, users connected to my network will attain the utmost, best possible downstream and upstream speeds and latency possible when playing 'subspace'.

The reason I created this thread was mainly because I was surprised to find SubSpace in the list, and even further surprised to find that it is indeed referring to SubSpace/Continuum by VIE/Priit (see protocol.h from DD-WRT repository).

PS. This is my first time using a router with DD-WRT on it. Just got this baby in the mail from someone at hardforum.com. =]
