L.C. Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) do an evening show :/Like Jay Leno. lololol I wonder if Mom and Audrey would be willing to host a "Mom & Audrey Show" where they just gossip about players in the community. Edited February 20, 2010 by L.C. Quote
whalz Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 well i know that LC, but still, as .i am not listening to my computer for the most part, am/fm would be more .. better .. than internet radio.. jus sayin'' however uncomparable they are. guess if i was working at a computer i would listen, or playing subspace... lol ^nice job on 15 listeners Quote
»Purge Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I'd listen to the Mom & Audrey show... Quote

Sketter Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Its unfortunate this wasn't supported by these forums, for I would have loved to have listened in but don't visit the forums enough and miss out. Suggest getting the admins support and try to shoot out a newsletter or set up some other type of communication other then word of mouth. Thanks! Quote
»1587200 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Don't bother man, this community doesn't want it. Plus you have ppl like Chambahs going around still saying they are the ssradio founder, which I find comical Quote
Shlazzer Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 I mean, I'm going through with this no matter what the community (or cham) says. It keeps me and my 15 listeners entertained. Quote
Chambahs Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 I am the ss radio founder, jew. Quote
Shlazzer Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 GJ you failed at your attempt, now step aside! Blight on the SS community, begone! Quote
»Xog Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 First broadcast was a success! Got 15 constant listeners, which is more than I was expecting for a first go 'round In my past experience with online radios, including subspace radio among other things like Jumpgate Pirate Radio, your first initial broadcast usually nets you your most listeners before it tapers off. I really don't mean to put you down but I'm just giving you a heads up - the next show you do will probably not yield the same users, eventually you'll wind up getting anyone who wants to tune in to tune in, but after that it WILL die out. It takes a LOT of effort and a LOT of different ideas to keep a good listener pool. Do some research on Pallies Radio (from trenchwars) they were the most successful SS radio group (and it was just a squad thing at first, but it wound up forming into a TWL "Trench Center" thing) - they'd have a constant flow of over 50 listeners during each show. At one point they had 80 listeners when I tuned in. They were a crazy bunch. http://forums.trenchwars.org/showthread.php?1316-Pallies-Movie-Emporium!/page3 Quote
»Xog Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) haha, in look at 10:45 - 12:23 good times, good times Edited February 22, 2010 by Xog Quote
rootbear75 Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 I am the ss radio founder, jew.no, syrus tried to start it before you did.you're the jew. Quote
Delic Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 i miss trench center, best subspace related stuff ever. specially pearl jam's comments and skits mixed humor with league reports, good stuff I'd listen to a subspace radio. If it's not against zone rules, you should advertise big zones' chats. Quote
»1587200 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 So is this going to happen, or has all hope been lost? Quote
Audry Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 I havent heard about shlazzer in a very long while. Quote
Shlazzer Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 ive been incredibly busy irl, unfortunately. if someone wants to pick up where i left off, feel free, but i dont have the drive to use what little spare time i have trying to promote someone that subspace apparently doesnt want. Quote
Shlazzer Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 conceited l0l, it has nothing to do with you. the general public doesnt care about radio anymore. theres hardly a sense of community anymore on any level. RIP subspace. long live hockey zone ^_^ Quote
»Purge Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Exactly what I've been saying since Syrus started SSRadio! The public doesn't want nor listens to radio anymore since there are so many better alternatives out there these days. This idea would have worked before the iTunes and Pandora days. I myself ran a somewhat successful radio for Halo around 2004, complete with music, zone updates, squad announcements, and staff announcements. People actually dropped their MP3 playlist to listen to something different and relevant. Not to mention we all had similar music tastes. It was fun back then, but not now. For this and other obvious reasons, no one should waste their time on SSRadio anymore. Quote
Samapico Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I think I heard something... nevermind, I'm probably just getting old Quote
Corey Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Screw tw, make a ssf-radio for forum listeners, play any music, no high strung mods on ssf, like there is tw. Tw admins are scared, i dont know what is wrong with a song with 'nigga' in it, tupac, one of the most brilliant rappers used it often, and his music is still played on the radio in my city, uncensored (with the exception of the f bomb) and people have no problem with that. Grow up tw and learn that its not always about anally enforcing the rules. Make exceptions to some, to please others. No one wants to hear "and if you dont know, now you know n- (epic blank)" - biggie smalls : juicy, for anyone who didnt know. Tldr; grow up tw Quote
»Maverick Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Trench Wars wasn't the problem here, Corey. Read what Purge said. Quote
