I want to know what attracted YOU to this game when you first saw it; what caught your attention and interest to join the bandwagon? I would especially like to hear from newer players.

When I was a kid I was at my friend's house. He was playing in A Small Warzone .. he didn't even explain much abuot the game, but I went home and downloaded it. I never even kenw his name. No idea if he still plays or not because I can't even find his facebook or myspace.

i saw that one subspace skin with hotgirls on it... like 6years ago u know i thought wow hot girls ANd space ships and online, craaazy

 

but things have changed, if you wana attract new people you gota find something that they would find attractive to the game, what we did when we found it probly wont apply anymore, since the bandwagon isnt online games like this anymore, its bigger fancier ones.. you gota take advantage of the classic value of it and that may or may not attract a large group of gamers..

I honestly don't remember what attracted me because at first I thought subspace was retarded. I grew up watching my brother play it since Sniper. I actually remember when he begged my mom to buy the VIE CD when it went pay to play.

 

But yea the first time I played on his computer I was like "this game sucks" and closed it. I don't remember why or how (probably boredom), but I got hooked about a year later.

This is a pretty damn good tactic, actually. I clicked that Evony link once, because the hot girl got me interested.
