deadonarrival Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I know, you flinched when you saw the word "settings" in the 17th forum. The topic has been discussed to death, repeatedly. This topic is a 4-times reincarnated hindu zombie cat. Well, sorry, I've performed a little CPR on the 9th life, and it's still with us for at least the duration of this post. However I noticed that, and it may not have been the only factor, when we had the last population spike - ie enough to have pub running for a few hours a night, the old settings were in place. Once the new settings were re-instated, the population vanished. Could it be that the old settings are more fun for low pub numbers? Is that because there are a couple of fast-kill options - namely the weasel, which is hours of fun. How about doubling the damage (/halving energy and recharge rates) on the old settings and putting them in place for a while? It's worth a go, right? Quote
