So I try to google something at http://google.com this is what I get. I then tried http://www.google.com and it says there is no "/" directory on the server.

 

 

EDIT: After a few minutes this went away

Something on your end is off its rocker (which might be DNS-based).

 

Try using OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 + 208.67.220.220) or AT&T/Level3 (?) (4.2.2.1 + 4.2.2.7) and see what happens. You may have to clear or flush DNS (ipconfig /flushdns).

I do use OpenDNS, and like I said, this went away about about 6 minutes.

Based on the layout you're using Ubuntu's Lucid Lynx Alpha 1 version..... it's alpha man expect bugs
