Lol at the first picture, I used to have 3-4 columns of shortcuts on my desktop, most of them games, but recently I've been trying to make it cleaner, until I got this:

I just use shortcuts in Steam or Xfire and abuse the search function for everything, Win7 FTW!

Lol that's not just a picture, it's actually my desktop >.>

Seeing as the last laptop was pretty much impossible to use, I switched to an IBM ThinkPad T42 - which is surprisingly great.

I think I might actually stick with this for a few weeks longer, and instead of getting another MacBook I've been looking at the 27" iMac Core i7 with 8GB RAM and 2TB HDD - should be cool.

Btw: That's an awesome background image, Dav.

Here is my desktop desktop. This is in its clean state -- periodically I put all the junk from my desktop into a folder called "Desktop Junk".

  • pleasant weather

Here is my laptop desktop. As you can see, I don't use it for much.

Make a folder called "Blender Stuff" and put everything related to blender from ur desktop in that folder.

Make a folder called "Projects" and in that folder put "Subspace"

Make a folder called "Images"

You'll now have a total of five icons on your desktop.

Junk

Blender Stuff

Projects

Images

Recycle Bin

Eye candy for performance...

(Goes off topic)

Im okay with my theme i have on and vista glass because this pc can handle the sexy, being quad core 3.0 ghz amd athlon II (not too old) and 8 gigs of DDR3

I honestly do not know why i have obtained the habit of clogging my desktop with all my temp work, so I'll just shove all my stuff in a temp folder and once a month clean that sucka out.
