Hehe, I remember when I used Twister in Trench Wars (under L.C.) and Metal Gear Solid (under a different name??) like 4-5 years ago. I received a simple ban from Metal Gear Solid, but in Trench Wars I received a netban and a username-lock (would give a popup error saying that my username "L.C. is locked out"). The netban and username-lock expired only a few years ago...which means my ban must have been like 2 years or something.

EDIT: And if anyone bothers to ask, I have no intention of cheating again. :\ Through a lifetime of experience, cheating simply exhausts the fun and purpose of the game. I don't know how to use CE on Continuum anymore either, and I never actually used this in a public zone. Someone taught me a few hacks with it on Continuum years ago, but I only played around with it in a private non-SSC zone to figure out how memory hacking works.

Then I used CE on some Java/Flash games in Firefox to get massive points or impossibly high WPM scores on keyboard typing sites. blum.gif I also used it to get into the top three for one of the songs that come with Audiosurf on maximized difficulty.

I wouldn't see a problem with expiring all the bans, I mean I had fun placing some of them in the first place. Really if you think about it, all those hackers will be dumb enough to step in TW, EG, or CZ anyway, and all of those zones normally have at least 1 active staffer around with ban powers, or know who to contact to get a netban placed.

I couldnt agree more. I dont think it would just destroy things anyway. If anything it would give staffers something to do.

LOL, wow man couldn't have said it better my self. Sometimes I feel like 90% of staff in any zone is offline because they're bored.

edit: now that I think about it, I think it would bring more activity and attention to the game much more. If you think about it, with more staff being active, that means there's more direction, and more leadership from the "authoritative figures" that are presented on their respective citizens.
