PoLiX Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 1st on Halloween night you got a Seattle cop with his trainee sitting in a car, and a guy drives up, gets out, and shoots at him and his trainee, killing him. Luckily that guy was shot by cops when being captured, and is now paralyzed. But now you got some guy who walks into a coffee shop, says nothing, and just opens fire on 4 cops sitting there waiting to start their shift. What the fuck is wrong with these people... http://www.king5.com/news/local/Police-officers-shot-78089882.html Quote
»Xog Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 First it was cops with a trainee in the car.. on halloween.. *dramatically puts on sunglasses* Now it's the cops in the coffee shop. YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Quote
Bak Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I read governor Huckabee commuted his possibly 70 year sentence in 2001. Quote
jacob hunter! Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) why make a post about this just because they are cops lol... like omfg this is not shit man. id kill cops too if they were the snobby corrupt kind or just maybe they just hate cops. its not like a little kid was raped or killed so who the fuck cares. maybe post something worth a damn on your own board such as little girls and boys getting kidnapped raped then killed. otherwise save the bs lol. PoLiX Posted December 2, 2009 Author Report Posted December 2, 2009 because the guy who did it did rape a girl? And I got a better idea... you're an annoyance... goodbye. Quote
Synister Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Thank god he's finally banned. Pwnt by Polix.. Now on-topic.. Is it just me or does that copkilling crap really only happen in the states... either way its dumb and hits home cuz cops work to keep cities clean and safe and end up getting shot in a coffee shop as they wait for their shift to start? Wtf? yea there are cops that are corrupt but even if they are corrupt do they deserve to get shot?.. Quote
NBVegita Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I'm of the eye for an eye type of deal but even with corrupt cops, unless they're going Rambo on these thugs and gangs, then they don't deserve to die. And maybe going Rambo on these gangs might be the way to do it, so I find it hard to eye for an eye them. If someone's murdered 3 people and someone murders him, to me that's its own form of justice. Two wrongs don't make a right, but I'm more lenient about someone shaking down criminals over shaking down people who earned an honest living. Quote
Samapico Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 They should go Rambo on the gangs, with tranquilizer darts, and just stuff them in a cell Quote
Synister Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 NB I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately you have to be shot at first before you can open fire, and even if you know where a gang group is and know they have killed people, you can't just walk in and take em in.. you need evidence unfortunately =/ Then they only get a 1/3 of their sentence and walk free and recommit. It's a vicious cycle which is why Canada needs deathrow. Quote
Bak Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 you have to be shot at first before you can open fireI don't believe you. Where did you get this information? Quote
L.C. Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) you have to be shot at first before you can open fireI don't believe you. Where did you get this information?Reminds me of how dogs that are approaching your goats and animals as prey first have to make physical contact before you are allowed to even shoot the attacking dogs...even if your animals are fenced...otherwise it's called animal abuse. Source: my dad's experience a few years ago that I was in second/first-hand witness. ^^ Almost totally irrelevant. Think laws aren't strict enough? Plus corrupt/retard-free enough (referring to my dad's case)? Edited December 6, 2009 by L.C. Quote

»Swift Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 This occurred literally 10 minutes from where I live. It happened a day prior to me getting home and I think it was pretty harsh thing. The cops who were killed had done nothing wrong whatsoever, the only thing they did wrong was be in the same coffee shop they go to everyday to get coffee and end up being on the news instead. It sucks, but it's an internal civil war we fight everyday... just like the terrorism we deal with around the world. By we, I mean everyone, not just Americans. Quote
NBVegita Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Hey Bak, I don't have a source to cite, I'll try to find it, but my cousins in law (my wife's cousins) come from a police family. Her uncle is a retired detective, one of the cousins is a police officer the other is a sheriff. I can confirm that at least in NY state, you are only allowed to use equal forced used against you. So if someone is attacking you with a knife, shooting them is excessive force. If you shoot first in NYS you need to actually need to prove that the only way to save your life, or another life was to discharge your weapon, which is a bear to try to do. It's damn stupid. Quote
Synister Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 you have to be shot at first before you can open fireI don't believe you. Where did you get this information?Uh.. standard police protocol? You can't shoot unless your life or civilian's life is in immediate danger or if you are shot at.. Little different where I work than NY like NB said but it's similar. Quote
PoLiX Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 The man who committed the crime was killed, and sadly his death picture is all over the internet. I say sadly because it means someone didn't follow the rules, and some kids shouldn't see it. But for a lot of people, its kind of a feel of closure in a sick sad way. Today was the motorocade to the memorial. At 1pm on base, all the cranes in the yard sounded their whistles for a moment of silence. This hits home cause I have a few friends who are cops, including my best friend's dad and step mom. Always hoping they come home safe and sound ever since the shit in seattle. Quote

Idk if there ever will be a way to prevent these assaults/attacks on law enforcement but one can only hope right? Quote
