Yea it seems arrogant but I think their attitude is "Do what we do before you tell us what to do."

You're a pilot, right kid? What if I asked you for a news file that lets me know when you will be playing and what zone you will be playing in?

It doesn't make any sense to post in news.txt about items that are already nerfed. While having of way of predicting which items might/will be nerfed is too stupid. They're focused on more important things like balancing the zone. (which is why things get nerfed)

Ultimately if you buy things to try to get the best build or copy someone else instead of just playing to be unique and creative (as is the ENTIRE POINT of having a customization system), you are in for some disappointment. At least now there are a lot more decent builds than there used to be.

 

See, what I don't get about this thread is that nothing has changed in months anyway, and unless someone gets some sudden inspiration I don't see that changing soon. You should enjoy that.

What specifically inspired me to make this post was that salvo, an item I already had on several ships, was nerfed. I didn't plan on using it because other people had it, I already had it because it had a low bomb delay. Then it changed, without any notice, from 65 bomb delay to 75.

Okay so you admit you fall into "try to get the best build" and not "copy someone else," doesn't make any difference to me... either way that happened a long time ago. If you didn't notice it until now, then it obviously isn't a big deal.

Not sure who or when this was done, but since I dont bother doing ?iteminfo to the majority of items, when did Exoskeleton get a buff with inactiveshrap?

Note to self:

 

Salvo, Flash Drive, Naquadah Gen., and Jedlik Dynamo have been nerfed.

 

Impact Bomb, Retro Rockets, and Cluster Bomb have been buffed.

 

It's as if the only sig you want anyone to use is Sharppinger.
