CONCERNING NERFING ITEMS

I am tired of you nerfing items and not telling us. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for improving the balance of the game and I believe that is your goal, but it is ridiculous when tinkerings are made to items we have on ships we use without telling us. Take the WoW approach and announce it in the news by saying "Cluster Bomb's energy has been increased from x to y." If you're opposed to having the news change all the time, display it in a static lvz in the top left corner that everyone can see, or even better yet, write a module that allows you create messages with a predefined lvz alphabet.

Dude thats the best idea i have ever herd. honestly i think they should seriously do this. likewise i am tired of all this constant nerf'ing w/o any acknowledgement to the public. Its pretty odd to come into zone one day and notice ur bursting ultra slow only to figure out that salvo has been nerf'd. Seriously guys (mods/owner) im sick and tired of this. just at least take courages idea into consideration with an open mind.

I find it kind of offensive that you manage to look at my post with such a narrow view. Naturally I would suggest coding a module (as is the usual solution to problems). That being said, the purpose of this post was to bring attention to the idea of transparency within the zone (which I see having no real negative affect) and not necessarily being done exclusively with a module. I would appreciate a forum post. Hell, I'd appreciate an "?a BTW I JUST NERFED LANCS AGAIN."

I understand that you are an asshole. There is no need to reiterate this through poorly thought out posts. I get it.

 

This being said, you took the one part of my post that you construe as negative and focus entirely upon it instead of addressing the legitimate concerns that it raises. All you have to do is make a god damned forum post when you nerf stuff. That is all there is to it. You don't have to code a module. Sure, that'd be neat, and it was exactly as it appeared: a suggestion.

Why are you getting mad? I pointed out the humor in your post and you're getting agitated. I don't know if you're like Lera and just looking for a fight or what, but you, sir, are practicing futility through hypocrisy. I've done nothing to deserve this: simply pointed out one humorous part about your post, which does not discredit the rest of it (you think it does, but you're just trolling.) Next time, at least save yourself the trouble and say "AKD I want you to say something harmless to me so I can overreact" instead of hiding behind your ever-so-original suggestions.
