Turbo, there's no need to quit due to being discredited. I was quite thankful, regardless of your background, that you came in the way you did with the attitude you had. I think you got some things accomplished here.

 

EDIT: And if it makes you feel better, Priit himself flamed me several years ago for making a bunch of posts on forums via Report Bug/Suggestion link in Continuum. Back then I was the biggest loser in town -- I don't think anyone (including rootbear) has exceeded what I went through.

ehh let's see..

 

I've been banned 2 times, once for 3 months for some super sudden spikes of lag looking like cable pulling in tw,

 

mage+ somehow made it look like me and spammed the shit out of twmaps which got me blocked for a few months...|

 

force removed out of twdev 3 times and 3 times rehired for silly shit that i started getting tired of others and started to talk back about...

 

 

 

Fun shit happens when you play for six years, and this is just Trench Wars issues I've had. Im still here, and if TW goes down the drain, idc, I'll just move on to a different zone. It's simple. I'm just there to keep what's left of their population stable so projects like discretion have more time to finish.

 

 

Bottom line: shit happens. Don't cry over spilled milk.

I think this client needs to be paired with an all in one ASSS server/biller and brought into the same source forge project. Perhaps even combine forces with PSpace on source forge also. Edited November 28, 2009 by cyanyde

there is a server in the same sourceforge project although it's in progress so i've yet to make a release for it. check the svn if curious

You guys are all right... sorry for the drama :\ I was a little taken off guard. I was very moved by all your supportive comments, not least of which those from dsb where they wouldnt honor my request for a netban. Thanks guys, it really meant a lot to me. Sortof validates all the energy I put out there. You guys are my friends (especially those I've known a long while) and when it sank in that I was going to lose you all I realized that I cant just cut you all out of my life to avoid some drama.

 

I'm still pretty confident that if I had had an oportunity to talk to people things would have been fine and there would have been no misunderstandings..

 

When it comes to me not being a representative of dsb - I dunno... Who better to represent the people than someone whose talked with players and major stake holders and gathered consensus and passed it along to those in charge thereby representing the people. It may not always look like it but I did take great care to keep the values of everyone in mind so as to avoid stepping on any toes but as flabby helped me realize, there's no way to avoid pissing people off. It wont stop me from trying to be considerate but shit happens i guess :\ I just hope we can all decide whats best for the community in this case and move in that direction.

 

That includes me, perhaps I've made mistakes..

 

but at heart, I have no intention to cause any harm to this community... I hope that that can carry me through this

could care less about drama. the results of projects is the only thing that perks up people's ears these days. Only place left to have drama with is sscu drama wars.

 

 

On a side note, did you do anythin with discretion over the break BaK?
