Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

[Incomplete]

I've been fairly excited about this game for a while. I really enjoyed playing the campaign on CoD4 but didnt like multiplayer. I enjoyed the Multiplayer on Call of duty: World at War but didn't enjoy the campaign on it. So hopefully I will enjoy both on Modern Warfare 2. It should be getting posted today.

 

Anyone else getting it or got it?

If theres going to be any bitching about the game then please make it constructive.

PC-wise, the game got totally destroyed multiplayer wise.

Picked it up last night at the midnight release. Played it for about an hour

I really wish they would have made the campaign coop....

 

 

....I do like the Special Ops option.. that has coop. Going to try that later today.

I also like the heartbeat monitor that you get in the third or fourth mission (snow base one), as well as the ability on some missions to use vehicles.

 

Third thing: OMFG wtf is up with the second/third mission. (airport) I know they said it might be disturbing but damn....

 

also: i like having civilians there too instead of just people. Makes it that much more realistic.

No... this is why you don't buy it at all. Oh well, there are much better shooters than this shitty console port. How they can remove servers and expect anyone to buy it is beyond me..

The game is excellent on the console. The multiplayer is better than CoD4 with a lot of improvements. More perks... more guns/configurations... smoother gameplay...

There is one part in the career that actually is brutal, let's just say, open fire civilions, otherwise, there are half the perks that there were for cod 4, a hell a lot of attachments/ killstreaks, same amount of guns, but endless fun.

are you sure that it wasnt made on the console first then ported to the PC?

Completed campaign on Regular. I don't think the story is as good as it was on Modern Warfare 1 but it's still better than the other WW2 ones. I'm gonna try veteran now which is going to be a complete bitch! The spec ops aren't too bad, I reckon most of them will be very hard on veteran too.

 

EDIT: Lol as you choose veteran it says "are you sure" then you click yes then it says "are you absolutely sure? so you click yes then it says "Veteran is extremely difficult, are you certain you want to play at Veteran difficulty?"

 

Thought it was quite funny.

I got it the day it came out, and have been playing a fair amount. It's a pretty good game, very realistic. Got to lvl 26 i think.

 

Worst thing about the game : No radar on campaign and no co-op campaign. Multiplayer is very fast-paced just the way I like it.

WHERE THE FUCK IS NAZI ZOMBIE. even if its set for the future I would have hella fun blasting zombies with ak 47's rocket launchers, g36's ect...... Is it just strictly for world at war and are they still going to up date new maps for waw or what... I just know for a fact that the nazi zombie shit in cod sold pretty well and was insanely awesome to get stoned and drunk and play them!

its not WW2... therefore there WILL BE no zombies...

 

Second: TreyArch didnt make this one. infinityward did. And CoD4 did shitloads better than World at War (imo)

 

also: Nazi Zombies was probably the only good thing (that i liked at least... the rest of the game sucked) about world at war.

I've completed Veteran. It's not as difficult as CoD4. There are some tricky points in the game but other than that it's relatively easy. The Spec Ops are fucking hard!! So far I have 47 stars out of 69. Going to need some leet teamplayers to complete the rest of them I think!

 

I have completed almost every spec ops on the lowest difficulty and I've completed every spec ops on veteran up to Time Trial.
