1) SSCX Alpha West SVS with a population of 100

fixed

2) SSCA A Small Warzone

This is on the main directory server, I think its just been downloaded

3) When do zone listings expire if someone decides to remove ssdir.playsubspace.com from IP=?

When the server restarts. And they arn't listed on the main directory server (it downloads from their)

Do you or anyone happen to know the expiration time on that directory sever?

I don't think this is wise. How does your directory server behave when a NamePassword for a zone is suddenly changed without modifying its zone name?

It's back.

Also, I have the following zones already on my zone list: STFU Anything Goes, STFU Battlestar Galactica, STFU Blue Monday and T3 The Gauntlet. ssdir.playsubspace.com shows them as having population, yet they're red when I click "ok". If I remove them and re-download, only Anything Goes dissapears, the rest still show population in the Add/Update Zones list, yet all three are offline.

If I add all the zones that are downloaded and are shown as alive, the following are actually red and offline:

Algol Sub-zone Development

ASSS Nihon

BlueT Jackpot SVS (Dev)

BlueT Section 31 Test Zone

Development Zone

Discretion Experimental Warfare

Evolution

Greenish Test Zone

LAN Jackpot SVS

Mystic Kingdom

N734 Atomic Lanc

SDGSDNDFHS

Skill Events

Smooth Ops

SSACE SG Development Zone

SSCA Algol

SSCA Fusion

SSCI Cold Fusion

SSCX Alpha West SVS

SSL Dragonball Z

SSL Generator

SSXA A Small Warzone

STFU Battlestar Galactica

STFU blue monday

T3 The Gauntlet!

BlueT Section 31 Test Zone goes on and off. It was just on yesterday. Perhaps it is a glitch in the zones directory.

I forgot to set the default startup for Section 31 Test Zone to disabled. That zone isn't supposed to be there any more.

The bugs mentioned by SyrusMX™ are present on all three of these directory servers:

ssdir.playsubspace.com

dirserver.ssnecentral.net

ds1.hlrse.net

Posted (edited)
The bug does not exist on ds1.hlrse.net -- I even checked by disabling UpstreamServers and experimenting around. We use Snrrrub's directory server, which will contact other directory servers and copy their listings (and remove duplicate entries of the same thing). The problem originates at either ssdir.playsubspace.com or dirserver.ssnecentral.net. Edited by L.C.
