L.C. Posted October 28, 2009 Author Report Posted October 28, 2009 This is on the main directory server, I think its just been downloadedDo you or anyone happen to know the expiration time on that directory sever? When the server restarts. And they arn't listed on the main directory server (it downloads from their)I don't think this is wise. How does your directory server behave when a NamePassword for a zone is suddenly changed without modifying its zone name? Not meant to work There is no website. Suggestion: redirect to getcontinuum.com
»1587200 Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 1) SSCX Alpha West SVS with a population of 100fixedIt's back. Also, I have the following zones already on my zone list: STFU Anything Goes, STFU Battlestar Galactica, STFU Blue Monday and T3 The Gauntlet. ssdir.playsubspace.com shows them as having population, yet they're red when I click "ok". If I remove them and re-download, only Anything Goes dissapears, the rest still show population in the Add/Update Zones list, yet all three are offline. If I add all the zones that are downloaded and are shown as alive, the following are actually red and offline: Algol Sub-zone DevelopmentASSS NihonBlueT Jackpot SVS (Dev)BlueT Section 31 Test ZoneDevelopment ZoneDiscretion Experimental WarfareEvolutionGreenish Test ZoneLAN Jackpot SVSMystic KingdomN734 Atomic LancSDGSDNDFHSSkill EventsSmooth OpsSSACE SG Development ZoneSSCA AlgolSSCA FusionSSCI Cold FusionSSCX Alpha West SVSSSL Dragonball ZSSL GeneratorSSXA A Small WarzoneSTFU Battlestar GalacticaSTFU blue mondayT3 The Gauntlet!

BlueT Section 31 Test Zone goes on and off. It was just on yesterday. Perhaps it is a glitch in the zones directory.
L.C. Posted November 14, 2009 Author Report Posted November 14, 2009 I forgot to set the default startup for Section 31 Test Zone to disabled. That zone isn't supposed to be there any more.
Hakaku Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 The bugs mentioned by SyrusMX™ are present on all three of these directory servers: ssdir.playsubspace.comdirserver.ssnecentral.netds1.hlrse.net
L.C. Posted November 15, 2009 Author Report Posted November 15, 2009 (edited) The bug does not exist on ds1.hlrse.net -- I even checked by disabling UpstreamServers and experimenting around. We use Snrrrub's directory server, which will contact other directory servers and copy their listings (and remove duplicate entries of the same thing). The problem originates at either ssdir.playsubspace.com or dirserver.ssnecentral.net. Edited November 15, 2009 by L.C.
