I really dont think this is a big deal, however i do think it is worth mentioning.

When going to forums.minegoboom.com i get:

Secure Connection Failed

forums.minegoboom.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

just a heads up

Since I now have a bunch of IP addresses, I'llbe able to host some HTTPS sites that I planned on wanting to before.More specifically, http://forums.minegoboom.com/ is now a valid domain.

For those of you that like SSL, you may notice that it is verified by acertification authority that you don't trust yet. In most browsers, just clicking "Accept Forever" works. For those of you that maybe usingdifferent SSL features that I'll be hosting, you may want to installthe signing certificate as a trusted root certificate. To do that, download Mineplowers.derand installed it. To install in Windows/IE, right-click the file andInstall Certificate. For Firefox, Tools -> Options -> Advanced-> Encryption -> View Certificates -> Authorities ->Import.

Now any certificate that I sign will be a trusted certificate andyou won't get warnings in the future. Granted, I could then make anebay.minegoboom.com and sign it as eBay, but if you are smart enough toinstall a certificate, you are smart enough to fall for "all SSL sitesmust be real sites." I may in the future purchase a real signed SSL certificate, but I doubt that it really needed.

Have fun browsing the forums knowing that people won't be able to sniff your passwords from here now.

It's locked, but I'll reply anyway, just because I can.

As Hakaku said, you need to get the certificate to make it appear as valid, but it's technically even less safe to use the http instead of https, even if you get no warning.

I personnaly use the http because it's one less click, but whatever blum.gif
