wyled Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) Hi, I haven't played subspace since I was in middle school / high school but I have been doing software development since then. I noticed that the client is using SDL for cross platform compatibility and I have a lot of experience programming in multiple languages and also in using SDL. Is this project looking for some people who can lend some spare time? I can take a stab at fixing any issues or developing graphics / code as I have a lot of resources (people) at my disposal as well. Thanks and looking forward to seeing you all in game-wyled edit: oh, and if you're looking for any credentials: www.johnjosef.com Edited October 18, 2009 by wyled Quote
Hakaku Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I'll let BaK have the final say, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume, considering it's a free open-source initiative, that any and all help would be appreciated. The goal is to ultimately surpass the current game client and provide a flexible design that is highly customizable. You can check out the current repository over at SourceForge, and read the wiki pages associated with it here (including general info, tutorials, contributions appreciated...): http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Discretion. L.C. Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 You have a very nice resume! It is very nice and kind of exciting to see a person of your qualities and experience take interest in helping out the community. <_< I have no doubt that BaK will recruit your assistance. Quote
Bak Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 yes defiantly. I'd say first do the module tutorial at http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Discretion_Module_Tutorial after that works / makes sense we can move on from there Quote
