I've been having fun ever since the need for ship modeling started up my interest in 3D arts again, so im going to continue doing 3D.

Im first going to attempt doing a full 3D proportional bird that looks real and right.

Progress:

This is the picture I am referencing on:

Even though im not near done yet, what do you think for a first attempt? :)

I think the current perspective is a bit weird... you should give a 4 viewport screenshot instead blum.gif

Do you plan on animating it? Like... bones or whatever these things are called

Im planning on doing everything with it. The only reason the wings look small now ( is because i didnt finish the wings before i posted the preview.)

I use Blender. I could use ZBrush but for some reason when I make things harder for myself, i get better results, so I am limiting myself to only Blender (though i may fancy it up in ZBrush later on.)

Ill release it when im done too so that will be cool

Edit: I only showed it from the flying perspective because if I did it any other way, it would look like a turd with wings on it. blum.gif
