No_Remorse Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 essentially, anna is wilin' out, son.
Janedoe Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 1) there was a big jp, YOU DIDNT EARN and she was saving it for the people who DID earn it that night to keep it going.2) thats nothing to ban her for, shes keeping the pop up with a bigger jp3) theres always idiots coming into deva that have never heard of it, stealing the jp and leaving. she was right :/
Hakaku Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I understand both points of view concerning these issues, so I've made a few fixes that should partly address them: - The flag outside of map boundaries should have never occured, that was a bug in the map. - A player who comes in the zone solely to win the Jackpot (if no one is around) will not be awarded the full amount of credits if the jackpot is over a certain amount. [Eventually this will be expanded to also add any player who did not contribute to the jackpot at all (i.e. 0 kills 0 wins since last game), will not be permitted to win at all.] So to make it clear, yes this was a mishandling of the situation. Anna had wanted to maintain the Jackpot so that those who played the previous night could continue where they left off, and so wanted to prevent those who came in the zone just to win without adding anything to the jackpot (aka the "Spyed effect"). It is evident that this was the intent based on your screenshot, though I am also aware that the Staff Rules had been broken in order to place the flag outside of map boundaries. No bans will be accorded: this is terrible practice in order to try to solve an issue, it's merely hiding the problem rather than addressing it. So there is no need to result to incessant name calling, one flag should not stop you from playing the game.
whalz Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 if the people who 'work'... (lol) to get the jackpot that high and dont win it, then they can suck a dick, they didnt win it and its fair game for anyone else. die in a fire anna, i hope you rot in your devastation highchair
Hakaku Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 I was hoping for a better reply coming from you JDS, kind of disappointing. Seems nowadays the only thing you can do is resort to childish name calling - if you want to make your point noticed, you're going about it the wrong way. Seeing how this thread will inevitably go no where, it's now locked.
