Movie series Project

Well ya know I got a job now. Less time to play with stuff. I still want to go through with this. I just need some support is all. I mean I only got the lanc to work with as far as video stuff, but that's about it. Maybe some diverse ships will make it a better vid.

 

Had ideas of like a small ship strolling by, and a bigger ship suddenly pulls a transformer with all his weapons aimed at the tiny ship, and the tiny ship throws a thor and a big explosion happens and slowly flys away. it would say "In SubSpace, being the smaller ship does not mean you are weaker" or some good msg.

 

Got some other ideas about squad members fucking around with rookies but thats about it.

Even though this is just a still, I did work on animating exhaust. Ill upload the animation whenever.

I think the exhaust should get thinner toward the end, but overall it looks good.

edit: and actually no, it should get thicker towards the end and fade out... like a rocket ship

I think thinner would look nicer. would be like an ion drive on steroids.he fragments spreading from it at the ends as well though, would look amazing then.

If anyone could create a script of a "leisure-like" conversation, such as a "water cooler" conversation, I'd be very happy. I will also need 3 Voices for the pilot episode, 2 being the guys talking in this convo, and one guy that screems, "Why aren't you helping!?!?"

unfortunately not a writer... you could take something out of the early RvB episodes... ("What are they talking about?" I dont know "What do you mean you dont know?" (First season episode 1))

Nah. Im sticking to the whole "water cooler" thing with the 2 lancs right by eachother with the dogfight n shit.

 

Point is, there's war going on around them and they just talking casually. When they take off again something explodes right where they were too.

The movements didn't seem very natural... The ship shouldn't always be pointing the same direction it goes. It turns first, then the thrust accelerates the ship to change its heading.

That video was a like the most basic test i could do. Wasent a showcase, just a "Show can" (meaning I can do animation)

I sort of think opposite, though it's smarter this way, so I will not have to do the 3D, then get the recording done, then have to revise (do 3D again) to make them run the same length.
