Now that I can do 3D animation, I have thought alot about doing funny sketch videos for subspace, maybe even a story-line if possible.

 

I have talked with a few people with this topic, and seems to be a good idea, especially for advertisement.

 

This was not possible until the new ship models are being made. I really wish Juan would have released the models though... (sigh) but once Diwa releases his warbird model, I will have alot of fun with it.

 

I will need people who could assist me with story-line's or script writters (dialog), some voices, and a sound editor who can add static to things like voices when talking to get the "pilot" conversation feel.

 

It's a good idea, and I wanted opinions, voices, and suggestions about it.

Im basically waiting at this moment for some 3D modeled ships to be completed to I will use them. In the mean time I'm going to need to learn how to make the ships have things like thrust on the engines, etc..

 

 

We will need people who can come up with decent ideas and scripts that would make people laugh, and at the same time understand of most of whats happening (AKA no inside continuum jokes, but keep it related to it.)

 

 

As said I will need people with good voices that reperesents something like of "Red Vs. Blue" types.

 

 

I'll most likely need help with 3D.

 

 

I'm also doing what I can to speed up the ship model making process, but other things can be done while that is in progress so, right now I will focus on storylines, or small film scripts.

like i said before, i can help with that, and if you give me a script, i will read/record it for you. (like an audition thing)

damnit does anyone ever read my discriptions anymore.... "UNFINISHED" "Ill add ships EVENTUALLY"

 

Y'know, you're always so quick to nit-pick on Gannon's ships, telling him to change this and add that and you need to do so-and-so. But when somebody comments on something you are working on, and gives some constructive criticism, you have another mini hissy-fit.

 

Here are my 2 cents:

  1. - The camera tracking is sloppy. It needs to be smoothed out a lot.
  2. - The skybox (the space and stars) is messed up. You should make a pano so there isn't a visible seam when the texture is repeated.
  3. - It might be better without the 'platform' on which the 'Subspace' text is sitting. You'll start with ships flying between the text, fighting, and the viewer doesn't know what the text says, or that there is even text. Then, you pan way back, and the viewer sees that it is text, and that it says 'Subspace.' All the while, you can see the ships still flying between the letters and shooting and exploding.
  4. - The planet seems to come out of nowhere. It just appears...?

Dunno, but if it's for Thirdspace, you could go like this:

 

 

- Intro of subspace trailer, text: this is what VIE promised us.

- Gameplay of continuum zones, text: this is what we've got. Good times.

- Text: Now it's time to whip up some real 3D dogfights

- Gameplay of thirdspace or whatever 3D subspace/continuum you're making he movie project for, with explaining the differences and new features or something

- Title of project, (don't forget the ESBR Rating is subject to change blum.gif)
