Flags don't drop owned outside of a flag room. They always drop neuted outside of the flag room. Attempting to change ships to a ship you own will not spec you. It will just give you a message and keep you in your current ship.

One today went on for 3-4 hours tossing back and forth, and the losing team only got 3k, whereas the winners got 17k. That really doesn't seem fair, especially considering I spent at least 5k on bursts and reps. My point, I think losers should get a fair share now that teams are balanced.

Though there's already the periodic dings... hmmm.
Psythe Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Yeah. I, along with a ton of other people, jump in right before a flag reward to get some free cash. It's not a whole lot, but it'll add up and none of it is earned. I propose that a timer starts when the flag music starts, and from then until the flag reward, it watches players who enter or get lag-specced, and rewards them according to what percentage of time they were in the game during that timer. ... if that's understandable.
Acer Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Make the dings worth more.If they make it like $1000 or something players would only want to hold flags for the dings, neut right before the timer runs out and then pick them up again. They'd probably make more money that way too.
