L.C. Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 At my workplace all the zones appear red and I cannot download a directory server listing. As a result, it is to my conclusion that they probably have the ports necessary for Continuum to function correctly (with the exception of 4990-1) are blocked. Is there a way to go around this or bypass the block? L.C. Posted July 17, 2009 Author Report Posted July 17, 2009 Or even, what ports must I forward in order to play Continuum? Hakaku Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 As far as I know, the ports you need to forward depend on the ports of the zone you're trying to access. So if it's 5000, you'd need to forward 5000 and 5001. I'm not aware of any way to get around it though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v138/zacinu/SubSpacebannt2.pngPSPACE (SourceForge) - Alternative client (source) to Continuum
L.C. Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) So if I want to play in a zone that has the port 5000, do I forward that port TCP, UDP, or both? EDIT :: Nevermind. I'm pretty sure it is just TCP only. Thanks! EDIT2 :: UDP. Edited July 28, 2009 by L.C.
