Look at the graph.... as x->∞; y->0

 

anyways, as according to mathematics, it is not possible to reach zero (going either way) using this function. because x is on the lower level of the function (e.g.: 1/x) x can NOT be zero in the set of REAL numbers.

 

Now i do remember someone saying that yes you can divide by zero using some complex math, but in this instance, you cant.

 

 

of course, i could be completely wrong... i took calculus 2 years ago so i might be starting to forget it :/
