Hey, I downloaded wine and all of that stuff, and continuum plays, but it's really laggy like or choppy. How can I fix this? I went to Advanced Options and selected the bottom 5 choices, but it's still really laggy/Choppy.

Whats I do?

You should set the directdrawrenderer to "opengl". I forget how it's done, but for me it made a 150% difference in frame rates. I think it involves using regedit from wine, but I forget the exact key. Google should help.

This stuff:

wget http://subspace2.net/kernel32.dll.so -O /tmp/kernel32.dll.so

Make a backup of the existing file.

sudo mv /usr/lib/wine/kernel32.dll.so /usr/lib/wine/kernel32.dll.so.old

install my dll

sudo cp /tmp/kernel32.dll.so /usr/lib/wine/kernel32.dll.so

I don't know where I'm supposed to enter this information. I've only have Ubuntu 9.04 for 2 days.

you don't need to do any of that console stuff (referenced earlier) as you already have continuum installed and running, thats just to install it.

Try changing it to 16bit or 24bit in the options menu (so it matches the bit-rate of your desktop)

Well, if your talking about the Color Depth, I tried changing it to 16, and it's the same problem.
