»jabjabjab Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I don't know why the f this stupid os vista keeps making continuum jump. I am so angry at this point, im playing 2-10 in games i should be playing 15-10 in because it' jumping so bad I cant even dodge literally. I'll just float to my death, when i should be able to curve and dodge but the f'in screen gets so locked up it wont even register the arrow keys sometimes. This is seriously pissing me off to no limits.. Ive disabled vsync. Ive put on the needed Advanced options, Ive turned off rolls, and background, turned off all 3d stuff for the game with my nvidia GeForc 5200 WHAT THE HELL DO I NEED TO DO? If I cant play the game, Ill be so mad... If any other vista users found a way to fix this horrible thing, please help me, please help me.
Hakaku Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Don't blame your operating system. If you keep doing that, you'll never actually fix your problem. I've been running Vista without a hitch for years; if it's a graphics problem, then that's your graphics card's doing. 1. Are you running in windows mode or full screen?2. Advanced Options -> Software Emulation3. Advanced Options -> Avoid Page Flipping4. Advanced Options -> No Framerate Limit5. Options -> Graphics -> Color Depth (Set this to 32bit)
»jabjabjab Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Posted July 11, 2009 (edited) Full screen: Got all checked and set to 32 globally and continuum. the only thing i can find that seems like a problem is this: I dont know what he intel thing is for but my gfx card is Nvidia. Shock Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 The Intel thingy is a driver for onboard video..which doesn't seem to have drivers installed..or it has another problem, hence the yellow icon. I had ATi's equivilant to the GeForce 5200 and it ran Continuum HORRIBLY. Install the correct drivers for your Intel onboard video and remove the video card from the machine. You don't seem to play any games other than Continuum..because that card isn't going to allow you to play much.
