In-game, press ESC, then press B. The banner menu will show up. Select a banner that you have by using PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN, then press ENTER to use that banner.

Make sure they are placed in your Continuum\banners folder, and that they are 12x8 bitmap in 256 colors format.

Also, what Hakaku was talking about is the ingame 'select banner' thing, not the 'create/edit banner' window accessible from the main menu, which you were referring to.

For the security tab... are you 1) using Vista? 2) Administrator on your system?

Also you can try to move the Continuum folder somewhere else rather than Program Files as PoliX posted previously.

You've completely lost me. You're talking about banners... What does security even have to do with this? Plus you're not even using Vista, so obviously there won't be any 'security' tab...

To create a banner, first you have to open Continuum, go to Edit/Create banner. Press the new button, draw something, and then 'save as' the banner into your Continuum folder (usually C:\Program Files\Continuum\). To display your banner in a zone, log in, press ESC, then press B. The banner menu will show up. Select a banner that you have by using PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN, then press ENTER to use that banner.

Are you saving your banners in the proper folder? If the banner isn't located anywhere within Continuum's folder, then of course it won't show up.

This problem happened with me a few years ago,

confirm that you have a banners folder in your Continuum folder, if not;

just right click, create new, new folder - afterwards, rename it to banners.

Make sure when you are saving your banners, that they are in the banners folder.
