Abuse in TW

Hi, ok, well, awhile ago a player by the name of Mage+ was netbanned from Subspace for a pretty extensive list of Subspace law breaking, but then I was shocked to hear the following from a TW mod:

2:adaM> i put a trojan on his home computer & his dads computer

Now, I would think that a TW staffer wouldn't be bragging about putting a virus on a player's computer, are they actually allowed to do that? Are staff allowed to infect your PC with keyloggers in order to track your movements as well? I want an explanation here. Let's hear what you have to say, adam.

Now, I would think that a TW staffer wouldn't be bragging about putting a virus on a player's computer, are they actually allowed to do that? Are staff allowed to infect your PC with keyloggers in order to track your movements as well? I want an explanation here.

Staff are only human, so yes, they are allowed to talk about random stuff. Is it ethical? That's another matter. Are they allowed to infect and track someone else's computer? Depends on the laws of your country; I'm not Australian, so I couldn't say. (Assuming that anything within Continuum, the server, bots, or biller aren't used against a player, it's technically outside anyone here's control)

Nothing to do with subspace. Any statements to the contrary are heresy and inadmissible on this forum.

There is no point discussing it here (at the very least, it can be discussed at Trench Wars's forums) and if a player wants to report abuse of Trench Wars's staff, they can send their side of the story to Complaints@TrenchWars.org .
