"It's the internet" is a fallacy when arguing in favor of degenerate behavior, sorry.

 

How is it degenerate behavior?

He didn't steal it. He didn't hack it. He didn't break any rules.

This is purely a case of morals which does not fall under the category of any kind of behavior, degenerate or not.

Something like morality cannot be expected to be upheld over the internet because there is no social pressure, no physical pressure, nothing. Basically on this game there are plainly rules and nothing else. If he didn't break any, he did no wrong.
