Ehh the president was here at Nellis AFB the other day. They shut down the whole flightline for 2 hours while he went to some redundant "town council" meeting. Really, they have a town council in Las Vegas? Wtf?

Air Force Two?

Is it an upgrade of the one, or a 'well, you're not good enough for the #1, so... you get this' version?

Air Force Two?

Its the one that carries the vice president.

Air Force Two is the air traffic control call sign used by any United States Air Force aircraft carrying the Vice President, but not the President.[1][2] The term is often associated with the Boeing C-32, a modified 757 which is most commonly used as the Vice President's transport. The C-40 Clipper, a version of the Boeing 737, also serves in this role.

Although the U.S. Marine Corps carry the primary mission for helicopter support of both the President, Marine One, and Vice President, Marine Two, UH-1N Twin Huey helicopters from the Air Force's 1st Helicopter Squadron are also used to support the Vice President in the Washington, D.C. area under the call sign Air Force Two.

During the buildup to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Vice President Dick Cheney made his first overseas trip in office. For the March 2002, 10-day, 12-country whirlwind trip throughout the Middle East, Cheney used the VC-25A, a modified Boeing 747, that is typically reserved for the President. The aircraft used the call sign Air Force Two. Cheney's last time on a presidential aircraft had been over a decade before when he served as George H. W. Bush's Defense Secretary.[3][4]

British prime minister travels around in a bog-standard black car. Lame.

even that's verging on too much excitement for Gordon, imagine him in a private jet, would almost be as disturbing as the dodgy smile on YouTube!

Well what do you expect? It's Britian. I mean hell, look at their police force.... I really don't think you can stop a terrorist with a baton (not trying to be racist, only a joke) but, I laugh when I imagine them trying to beat down someone with a baton trying to climb up Buckingham Palace. lol.

Also:

The president has the COOLEST car ever.....

It is like landmine proof, it can seal itself to block out radiation in case of being hit with an atomic bomb or such, it looks super cool..... I wonder how much these people actually make driving the President, and flying the plane o.O...

I live in CT, in Litchfield County and the old helicopter pilot for George W. Bush lived in my town. Pretty cool eh?

That was mean...

But how come there is no sign of the AMERICAN colors on it? It is like yellow... and blue.... like Swedish...

Don't worry. We're organised enough to not need guns for every police man/woman, but when we do get guns...We still shoot the wrong person. On a serious note though, armed forces aren't ever far away in London - I can assure you of that.

We have come to accept that massive armored cars for VIPs and pointing a gun at every suspected criminal is not the best way to do things.

Makes for awesome night-time TV, though.
