If you ever registered/logged in with SVSZone or TWD/L, I would advise you to change your passwords.

 

Even if you're not sure if you ever did, and don't feel like trying to login and see, change your passwords.

 

So far my SSForum account/e-mail, and an alias of mine we're jacked. Also Hakaku's name it seems was also taken.

 

So be warned.

They didn't 'guess' the passwords, they decrypted them... which means even if your pass is 'adf9873kjajd?/3jhjh54j1hjhjgadkfha', or 'god', they could have it

 

But that is only if you are using the same password on the SVSZone/TWDL than ingame, or here, or in your email.

I recall the more complex hashes having to go through rainbows, and I know LC uses ridiculously long passwords (for some reason). L.C., I'd say you're in the clear for a day or three longer than anybody else.

I'm using binary passwords, so I'm assuming mine would be also hard to crack.

 

Thanks PoLiX for the warning, I change my password whenever I go to a diffrent zone than Hyperspace (not often) anyways as a precaution and change to a diffrent password when I go back to Hs.

Was a security breach within tw databases/svs databases where username/pw for the automated leagues were taken as well as forum db's which if you are using same password for ss they can just login to your account.

You can enter as long as you don't sign up and don't provide with a password.

i change minor things in it every so often. like changing a number for a letter, letter for a punctuation mark, etc..

lol, I don't even participate in TWDL stuff. I think I am registered, but that's years ago and I probably used a dud password.
