vetta64 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 this came out a lttle late in the system, but still very helpful, good work. Quote
Samapico Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 I'm guessing the damage is measured on a no-armor ship? i.e. default damage values For more complete comparison, you could add columns for multifire, bounce and gun level Quote
Sharpflame Posted May 16, 2009 Author Report Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) It is assumed that there are no damage modifiers on the target ship. Edited May 16, 2009 by Sharpflame Quote
kid Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 under the ships category some of the numbers are blatantly wrong. for example, shredder is only allowed on ships 1, 3, and 5 and you have it listed as 1-8 Quote
kid Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 not trying to badmouth you, was just assuming you were accepting feedback Quote
Sharpflame Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Posted May 20, 2009 http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/4540/hschartfinal.png Ror, should all be right. Quote
valate Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Hmm... very useful thank you. May I reccomend you try to redo the stats but with different armors? I know that may take ages but that would be even more useful. Quote
Evil Doom Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 That would be hard... because item stats probably change all the time... we just dont notice it... and it would be difficult to change everything with different armor... would take too much time for him to keep it up to date... unless he has the free time :S Quote
valate Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Yea I figured that, but it will still be very useful. Maybe someone should make a program that can automatically track and do the work by itself. That would be cool. Quote
Samapico Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 There's an armor guide... it lists the damage per bullet from each weapon. It would be pretty easy to use the gun sheet with different armor.Just apply the bulletdamage and bulletdamageupgrade difference, and the other stats should adjust themselves.Damage would be (128+bulletdamage) + (gunlevel-1)*(64+bulletdamageupgrade) bulletdamage and bulletdamageupgrade being the +- values, of course. It made me think of an idea... how about a rainbow gun? ... ok... maybe with a less gay name, but you get the idea; each bullet you fire is a different level, either randomly or in sequence. To make it show as such on the player's screen would mean a lot of packets to grant/degrant guns, but it could be done like the nova bomb, only affecting the packets relayed to players by the server.Could be... interesting... Maybe. Perhaps more interesting on the technical side than on the gameplay side, but whatever Quote
valate Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 um... sama... lol....rainbow gun ftw <3 But, yea. It would be fun to see someone actually make that program. I would give then some elite props. Quote
CDB-Man Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 bump. OMG WHERE DID THE STATS GO? I WAS GONNA READ THEM Quote
Cheese Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 the rainbow gun has already existed for a very long time now, stop by SSCV Distension to see it Quote
