I'm guessing the damage is measured on a no-armor ship? i.e. default damage values

For more complete comparison, you could add columns for multifire, bounce and gun level

under the ships category some of the numbers are blatantly wrong.

for example, shredder is only allowed on ships 1, 3, and 5 and you have it listed as 1-8

Hmm... very useful thank you. May I reccomend you try to redo the stats but with different armors? I know that may take ages but that would be even more useful.

That would be hard... because item stats probably change all the time... we just dont notice it... and it would be difficult to change everything with different armor... would take too much time for him to keep it up to date... unless he has the free time :S

Yea I figured that, but it will still be very useful. Maybe someone should make a program that can automatically track and do the work by itself. That would be cool.

There's an armor guide... it lists the damage per bullet from each weapon. It would be pretty easy to use the gun sheet with different armor.

Just apply the bulletdamage and bulletdamageupgrade difference, and the other stats should adjust themselves.

Damage would be (128+bulletdamage) + (gunlevel-1)*(64+bulletdamageupgrade)

bulletdamage and bulletdamageupgrade being the +- values, of course.

It made me think of an idea... how about a rainbow gun? ... ok... maybe with a less gay name, but you get the idea; each bullet you fire is a different level, either randomly or in sequence. To make it show as such on the player's screen would mean a lot of packets to grant/degrant guns, but it could be done like the nova bomb, only affecting the packets relayed to players by the server.

Could be... interesting... Maybe. Perhaps more interesting on the technical side than on the gameplay side, but whatever blum.gif

um... sama... lol....

rainbow gun ftw <3

But, yea. It would be fun to see someone actually make that program. I would give then some elite props.
