Hate The Fake Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 I went and pressed the word tile text icon and press it into a tile 3 x it will say subscript out of range and automatically close without saving =/
Samapico Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) It works for me... does any particular character makes it crash or something? Do you have configured particular tiles to the characters? Hmm, if you're on Vista, maybe it uses wide characters, and screws things up... TileText is expecting a character from 0 to 255. Try this version and tell me if it pops any message while you type: Edited May 12, 2009 by Samapico
captaiN coMMando Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 This mostly happens with when i attempt to make a map, comes up with a notice and closes it. I know this isn't helping but I'd thought I would reply... I think I just need to update mine with the updates it does not go through and closes

Samapico Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 First of all, get an update. 3.4.9 is old already
Drake7707 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Weird :/, normally a global error handling is in place that at least gives more information about the exception
Samapico Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Well, we have to add the error handling to every procedure Or at least in each user-triggered event procedure, so the error can be raised to the error handling.. hmm...
