vetta64 Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I am not sure if this is done already, but is there a list or explaination of what damage is caused by say a lvl 3 bomb as opposed to a lvl 2 bomb, or gun? Thanks
LeftsideChaos Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 From what ive been told, its bomb level * bomb damage so an l3 bomb that says 250 damage in iteminfo will do 750 damage of course different types of armor change this
Dr Brain Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Bomb damage doesn't change per bomb level. The blast radius is all that changes. So a direct hit will do almost the same damage on each bomb (minus the ship radius effects). The difference will be in what an indirect hit does. This is true for all subspace zones.
Sharpflame Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) Also, take into account the number of shrapnel and what level of shrapnel the bomb has. A lot of shrapnel adds to the damage because of inactshrapdamage (when a shrapnel hits someone before 1/4 second of its life has passed). Prox also makes bombs do -less- damage, because the bomb explodes further away from their ship. Edited May 3, 2009 by Sharpflame
Samapico Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Try this: http://www.minegoboom.com/cgi-bin/ryan/bomb.cgi
vetta64 Posted May 3, 2009 Author Report Posted May 3, 2009 That is helpful. What is the the nrg drain on a ship with no armor from a direct hit? What about bullets? If there is no armor invlived, what does a lvl1, lvl2, etc. bullet do as far as nrg loss?
Kilo Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=22178 for numbers pulled out of someone's rear that are approximately close enough Edited May 3, 2009 by Kilo
vetta64 Posted May 4, 2009 Author Report Posted May 4, 2009 TY that is what I was looking for I think
