»doc flabby Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 (edited) Looks like a bug in my directory server. I remember having this problem before when testing it, Its caused by an packet alignment issue in the packets it sends to Continuum. I suspect its related to a certain character used in the zone name or description. I thought i had fixed it though... Btw can all zones please ADD (ssdir.playsubspace.com) it to your list of directory servers as the the main directory server is down. Mine is the only one running at the moment. Current SRC : if anyone is interested and wants to try and fix it, i will have a look too but ive stuggled so far http://subspace2.svn.sourceforge.net/viewv...space2/Central/ Edited May 1, 2009 by doc flabby
Hakaku Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Definitely weird... The same thing happens for me, except that all the information (name, description, ip, port) are different... There's also a second zone, with no name, and 283 players...
Samapico Posted May 1, 2009 Author Report Posted May 1, 2009 Yeah, this was with your directory server, doc, I had it as my 3rd one in my list, and the other 2 didn't work so it got it from it
»doc flabby Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 Fixed hopefully, i've now restricted incoming zone descriptions to 480 characters in length. I think longer descriptions cause problems.
