Banned from hyperspace

mmkay, so I was working on registering a bot with linear-key called UB-Req

During the talking to linear-key

I accidentally hit . instead of / to talk to him and posted in pub .'rigged'

then lin tells me to go back on requiem.

so I do so, and I come back online to rare asying hes blacklisted my bot for tlkaing in pub.

I tried reasoning with him that it was an accident but he told me he was in no mood to argue so I said whatever

I then went back on UB-Req to continue working on it.

All of my accounts are now banned by rareitanium

 

His excuse is that I broke the rule severly enough to deserve bot blacklist and ban from one accidental post.

I tried to talk to him again and he said that since this is the second time he has had a problem with me (the first time, readers reminded was a year ago) that he was not going to give me lax.

My first bot got banned for spamming people thourgh private messages, this time I got banned for one accidental post in pub.

 

 

Unfair much?

Yeah, I was just talking to him about setting up a bot, he registered the name, and he accidentally typed in pub instead of PMing me.

So we're going to go through this again.

 

2) Bots do not speak. This means no advertising when players enter the zone via PM. Bots do not speak in public or team chats either. If a player registers with the bot then it may send a PM when the registered player enters the zone.

 

Also,

If you didn't read it the first time...FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL BRING BANNATION.

 

Secondly, since your first bot got you blacklisted you had no right to bring in another bot. On top of that your new bot broke a rule. This is why it was banned.

This first bot got banned a year ago rare.

You did not strip me of my bot privelagies just because you banned my first bot.

 

Secondly, it was an ACCIDENTAL posting, one I apologized for back on requiem and said I it was a typo.

 

Thirdly, ive had multiple bots from then you didnt ban me for.

 

Fourthly, you even said in pub "im in a bad mood" in the middle of our arguement.

 

I am SO sick of you taking your emotions out on players.

Your a mod not a "if I feel good so he gets off."

You are unbanned. I also told you the first time that you were blacklisted. So if you have other bots do not bring them in.

 

About being in a bad mood, I simply said I was not in the mood to argue with you.

 

 

We take the bot rules very seriously here, if you cannot read the rules and follow them then simply do not bring a bot into the zone. It's that simple.

Does this mean I can finish making my bot? or I cannot have a bot?

I think he means you can't have a bot. The bot blacklists is like a restraining order. We don't go around checking it for every bot all the time, but if someone tips us off to a bot, or we see it pushing the boundaries, it gives us a clear reason to kick it off without thinking further.
