First of all, each ship is different depending in which zone you are playing.

Secondly, some zones like Hyperspace also have customizable ships, so the best build is up to you.

Finally, it depends on your style of play. Some ships are better to defend, to bomb from long range, to rush, to cloak and get past enemy lines, to provide support to your team from behind, etc.

It also depends on what the enemy is using at the time...

My advice, try them all in different situations, and don't give up if you die a few times in a row. Some ships can take a long time to master. Any good pilot in their ship can kill just about any other ship.

To answer your question simply: No blum.gif

My personal favorites:

17th Parallel: The mighty Lancaster with bouncy bombs and forward bomb thrust... some crazy tricks to do with this.

Hyperspace: A warbird with stealth that gives no time to the enemy to see me until their debris are scattered in space.

I also enjoy the Javelin for the bouncy bomb and one-hit-kill fully-shrapped cluster bombs

as sama said, it all depends on zone. One of the nice things about the game as a whole is that every zone is different and as such the ships are also different.

Often the "best ship" is also not a clear cut thing. In the better balanced zones one persons favourite will be someone else's most hated. It all comes down to your style of play.

It's usually the most agile and easier to fly around.

It takes more experience to maneuver a ship with less thrust around corners.
