rootbear75 Posted April 15, 2009 Report Posted April 15, 2009 And here I was thinking Inkheart was aimed at 12 year olds! Brendan Fraser is quite possibly my most hated person of all time. What about Matthew Broderick?hey, dont mess with Ferris Bueller
Cancer+ Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 I just watched Punisher: WarZone. It was a good movie. More grown-up than the previous one. Which is what Marvel needs. It was really gory and didn't fall in line with the previous one. It was a different guy but I think he played a good Frank Castle
No_Remorse Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 I'd say it was completely over the top but no lack of punishment there, unlike that last so called punisher whose punishment wasnt as punishing as I'd like it to be. I liked it.
Chambahs Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 Anyone see Fighting? Im debating whether or not its worth going to the movies for. Also, I think the x-men origins movie is going to be a major flunk. Everyone saw it like 3 weeks before it even released. I wonder how its going to effect the box office.

I doubt it's going to have the slightest effect on box office. Those people are probably 1% of the target audience, and those who liked it will go see it anyway if they want not to see the green screen
Samapico Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Just watched Eagle Eye... was pretty cool. I couldn't help but think about GLaDOS
Chambahs Posted May 3, 2009 Author Report Posted May 3, 2009 Eagle eye was lame imo, i actually fell asleep at the end.
»Lynx Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I didn't like X-Men much... Some funny and cool parts, though. 'Great, five guys on a high protein diet stuck in an elevator'
Syrith Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 (edited) Anyone see Fighting? Im debating whether or not its worth going to the movies for. Also, I think the x-men origins movie is going to be a major flunk. Everyone saw it like 3 weeks before it even released. I wonder how its going to effect the box office. Fighting was quite mediocre. Many scenes were quite blurred, the plot was quite awkward, and the fight scenes were unrealistic. Not a spoiler, only the reason I watched it.Spoiler! --Click here to view--I only went because I was with my ECOO team after the programming competition and it was the only movie showing with a relatively short wait by the time we got to the theater. Cancer+ Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 The Haunting in Connecticut - Sucked. But you can cure cancer by burning dead bodies, thats what I got from the movie. Wolverine - Sucked. Terrrrrible ending. I know its a prequel but you can still have a better ending than Spoiler! --Click here to view--"I'll find my way."
»Lynx Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 (edited) Yeah, and there was a lot of boring bullshit in there too... Kinda felt like the first hulk. -L (but I really liked the first Hulk...) Edited May 4, 2009 by Lynx
»Purge Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Saw Crank 2 a few nights ago... was an interesting type of film. Reminded me of another movie that I can't seem to recall. Pretty intense action scenes and lotssssss of nudity.
Audry Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Do we see Jason Statham naked? might be worth watching if so
Chambahs Posted May 4, 2009 Author Report Posted May 4, 2009 Audry, did you watch Ghosts of ex girlfriends or whatever its called? Thats a chic flick. Talk about it. also Wolverine movie spoiler: MAGNITO DIES
»Lynx Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Isn't X Men Origins: Magnito out in 2011? Also, killing off Ryan Reynolds right at the beginning was lame. He was funny.
Samapico Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Do we see Jason Statham naked? might be worth watching if so Yes we do... actually... have fun
»Lynx Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Is it just me, or does Stratham look a lot taller than 174cm...
Samapico Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Is it just me, or does Stratham look a lot taller than 174cm...Is it just me, or I don't really care? :/
Audry Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Is it just me or he is sexy as hell! And no i did no watch that chick flick Chambahs... thought it was your kind of movie!
Cancer+ Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Isn't X Men Origins: Magnito out in 2011? Also, killing off Ryan Reynolds right at the beginning was lame. He was funny. They didn't kill Ryan Reynolds off. He was Deadpool.
Chambahs Posted May 5, 2009 Author Report Posted May 5, 2009 LOL did someone actually try to edit my post about magnito dying? Totally fell for the trap! I love being me. Anyway, just finished watching push, it was alright. The ending is "wtf man" because its one of those "Theres going to be a part 2" or "You will never know how this ended" type of ending. Plus, the best part of the movie for me, is the overall "powers" of different people. Thats what kept me interested and wanting to see more. But they roughly went over the types of powers, and they only show a handful that have them, I wanted to see more. And just for the record, lemme let you guys know how I judge my movies: 1) Interesting2) Entertaining3) Wow factor. By interesting, means that if its full of effects and explosions or stuff like that but it doesnt have my attention, its stupid. Like...I need to be INTO the movie, like "I wonder whats gonna happen next". Keep me guessing, throw some unexpected "LOL DIDNT SEE THAT COMING" stuff. Entertaining: If its a comedy, be funny, if its action, blow shit up, thriller, kill some people. Like the movie "The Spirit", was a snore-fest. Nothing went on. Wow factor: This is the one thing that makes a movie turn from good, to awesome. If its a comedy, make me piss myself, if its a drama/thriller, make it a crazy twist at the end, action, again, do some crazy "zomg awesome" stuff. Examples of movies that have wow factors in them: Comedy: Superbad, Drama: Righteous Kill, Action: Transformers.
No_Remorse Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 The Spirt was brutal -- Almost as bad as Sin City. Superbad was alright at the time but I laughed 100% more at Pineapple Express.
