Chambahs Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Watched "Xmen Origins: Wolverine" today. It was pretty epic. But I got the version of it thats not finished. So some of the special effects were replaced my 3d models and wireframe stuff, and you could also see all the ropes on all the actors when they were flying or jumping high or whatever. All in all, it was pretty good, I like how they tied everything together. Btw, Ryan Renolds, how however you spell his name, was FSCUKING AWESOME lol, he was my favorite in the movie for the short period of time that he is. Btw, I totally think they will milk the whole "origins" aspect. Im sure they are gonna have everyone's story told, and I think they will making a KILLING since every origins movie will be watched. Think about it, would you not watch it? I know I would, it could be the 15th character's origins movie and id still watch it lol. Now im off to watch uh...Spirit. Ill edit this and let you guys know what i thought. Anyone else watch these movies yet? Watch any other recent movies? Post about em here!
»1587200 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Did you snag a cam version or something? Transporter 3 was pretty epic. Quantum of Solice was good too. I however was suckered into watching Twilight by my gf. It was meh.
»Purge Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 There is a workprint DVD quality version around the interwebs for the Wolverine movie Chambahs mentioned. I'd rather watch it with all of the special effects, though.
No_Remorse Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Quantum of Solace, to me, was a steaming pile of shit. OH NO, TH3 T3RR0R1$T$ ARE TAKING ONE THIRD OF BOLIVIA'S WATER SUPPLY. WHAT ARE WE EVER GOING TO DO??? And god dammit James Bond, don't go soft on me, you are supposed to be getting pussy and getting it often. You don't turn that shit down you son of a bitch.
»Lynx Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Quantum of Solace was awful to watch; for many reasons. Firstly, there was no real plot. Secondly, it was not even slightly feasible. Thirdly.... What was it about again? What was the point in the way they attacked that building? (Casino Royal rocked though) -L
»1587200 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Ok damnit, when has any bond movie over the past 4 decades ever had a real plot and was remotely feasible?
Samapico Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c....ntum_of_phallus In 1999, Bechtel corporation signed a contract with the president of Bolivia to privatize the water supply in the 3rd-largest city, and shortly thereafter tripled the water rates (source - new window). Yeah, that's right, they tripled the rates in real life... so when the bad guy in James Bond threatens to double the rates, it's like the producers are challenging you to give less of a shit. They took a non-interesting real-life story and somehow made it less interesting than real life.
Cancer+ Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 yeah Quantum was shit. I did not like it at all. I watched Monsters vs Aliens. Pretty good movie. It was pretty funny. Seth Rogen made the movie though.

CRe Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 currently downloading the leaked version of the new fast and furious movie gawd, i love teh internets I've been waiting to see that.
Samapico Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Hmm, I didn't understand that... I saw a trailer for fast and furious... but... didn't they already made like 3 of those? Couldn't they think of a clever short title to append to it, or just slap a 4 (or 3, whatever it should be, dunno how many there was) at the end
»Lynx Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 I was liking the Fast and Furious trailer, until they played Soulja Boy... -L
Samapico Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Just watched Knowing... some people told me it sucked... I enjoyed it... I never saw so many people burn at the same time
»Purge Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I just saw Fast and Furious... it wasn't bad, but I still liked the first one better for the plot.
CRe Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I just saw Fast and Furious... it wasn't bad, but I still liked the first one better for the plot. Yeah I saw it last night. I still think first is better though as well. But it was still better than the 2nd and 3rd.
rootbear75 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Just watched Knowing... some people told me it sucked... I enjoyed it... I never saw so many people burn at the same time i watched that too...it was okay... not good, but not bad
Suicide_Run Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 So....did anyone watch DBZ? Or more likely, was anyone stupid enough to watch it and will review it? =p
Emit Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 can we just pretend we did and save ourselves an hour and conclude that it sucks?
Incomplete Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Just watched the new Fast and Furious film. I must admit that I quite liked it even though there wasn't as much racing in it as I hoped.
Drake7707 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 'Inkheart', 'Tale of a desperaux' and 'Bedtime stories' were pretty good ^^
No_Remorse Posted April 15, 2009 Report Posted April 15, 2009 And here I was thinking Inkheart was aimed at 12 year olds! Brendan Fraser is quite possibly my most hated person of all time.
